Hand sewn duvet cover. Tsutsugaki 筒描 (freehand paste resist dying technique) with flower mon (family crest) in the center. Originally a quilt-top used as a futonji (futon cover), this piece was later converted into a duvet cover, being given a new border with button-holes to attach it to a duvet.
