Sakiori 裂織 farmers jacket. Sakiori, to tear and weave, is a traditional form of textile recycling. When cloth is beyond almost any other use it can be torn into strips and re-woven into sakiori panels. The panels can be used alone as obi belts or joined together to make vest, coats, or blankets. This coat has also been reinforced with Sashiko stitching.
