Tsutsugaki 筒描 (hand drawn resist dyed fabric) indigo futon cover.  Tsuru - Kame, crane and tortoise motif along with sho chiku bai three friends motifs both are lucky, longevity, strength, resilience and persistence.    The symbolism indicates that this was most likely a wedding present.
